Steve Jones Phoenix Concert reviews
Very poor performance
The concert was scheduled for 8:00pm and Mos Def's performance lasted from 8-9:00pm. Steve Jones didn't appear on stage until 10:30pm, causing the audience to become upset and repeatedly "boo" him for not coming out promptly. Upon starting to sing, Steve Jones left me questioning, "what is wrong here, maybe it will improve?" Sadly, it didn't. Her voice was barely audible, and she kept signaling to the drummer in an anxious manner to play the drums more vigorously and faster. Due to her poor performance, the audience started to depart and continued to jeer at her. It was a dreadful show! In a show of loyalty to Lauren, I endured the concert, nearly in tears, pondering why the experience was so painful.
